As the Community Manager for Magento, Sherrie connects people with resources and with each other, and, since she’s just a bit passionate about the topic, she also co-produces a weekly broadcast for community professionals called #CMGRHangout. An ENFP, Sherrie is obsessed with innovation, terrified of status quo, and motivated by adventure.

A cool geek before being a geek was cool & a 3-year GISHWHIS certified weirdo, Carrie looks at life as an adventure waiting to happen. Carrie is a known abuser of puns, hashtags & emoji.
At My Community Manager, Carrie keeps Brew and Sherrie sane and focused despite the daily onslaught of squirrels. She coordinates the weekly writers as well as guests, making sure the calendar is in pristine shape.
Christin has more than a decade of social media experience coupled with a passion for connecting people with information and resources. Her background includes volunteer and professional service as a civilian advocate for military service members and their families. Known as a “digital cheerleader” she can be found online promoting and participating in live events related to community building, social business and professional development. She can also be found offline on the back of her husband’s motorcycle (usually headed to fundraising events).

Patrick Hellen is a large collection of adjectives, in the shape of a lanky, bearded, and bespectacled fellow. He’s been a lumberjack, a restaurant writer, a published author, a sales guy, a book seller, a church janitor, a tour guide, and most recently, a community manager and a Dad. He reads nearly constantly, tells loud boisterous stories for as many people as will listen, eats food like it’s his last day on earth, and still collects comic books and video games. Nicole Rohr Stephani moved to Chicago four years ago to earn her Master of Science degree in Journalism from Northwestern University, graduating in December 2010. She is originally from Birmingham, Ala., is training for her first half marathon, and refuses to go vegan due to her longlasting love affair with cheese. Nicole enjoys reading on rooftops and having glorious, pensive walks to and from the farmer’s market.

Tim McDonald is the ultimate in connecting and creating a conversation. With over 20 years of experience in networking and building communities, Tim is passionate in his pursuit of connecting people. Always learning, he pulls together his experiences and turns that into teaching people how to effectively connect and build their own networks.
Currently, he has turned that passion into a successful career at The Huffington Post as their Director of Community, growing and cultivating a strong and passionate community offline and online. In addition to that, he has started My Community Manager, a space where he brings his knowledge and those in the community to share knowledge and experience spanning live chats via Google Hangouts #cmgrhangout, blog posts and UNconference series #cmgrUN. He instigates the engagement and conversation, turning students into teachers and teachers into students. A skillful conversationalist, Tim encourages new ideas and navigating solid relationships.
Considered a thought leader in Community engagement, Tim has spoken at many events, led discussions and most recently sat on a panel at sxswi building the CMManifesto, further sharing his knowledge of Community and all aspects of that role in different business settings.
