#CMGRHangout presents: The Community Manager’s Survival Guide (Preview)

January 14, 2016 — by Sherrie Rohde0

Our friend Adrian Speyer from Vanilla, one of the CMAD Award Sponsors for 2016, reached out to let us know they’ve published a new white called The Community Manager’s Survival Guide to help community professionals learn how to handle various tricky situations including consistently negative and angry members, the consistent, line toeing troll, suicide threats, moderation team fumbles, reports of harassment and legal threats. Obviously we couldn’t resist creating a panel around this.

Join us for this week’s #CMGRHangout panel on Friday, January 15th at 2pm EST/11am PST to discuss how to survive as a community manager when the going gets tough.

Jonathan BrewerDom Garrett and Sherrie Rohde will be hosting the hangout with David DeWaldPatrick GroomeJenn Lebowitz and Kelly McNamara on panel. Christin Kardos and Carrie Keenan will be moderating the Twitter chat using #CMGRHangout.
