This Monday, January 23, 2012, is the 3rd Annual Community Manager Appreciation Day (#CMAD). This annual event, held the 4th Monday every January, was started by Jeremiah Owyang in 2010 as a way to show appreciation for online community managers.
This year in Chicago, the Chicago Community Manager Group (#CMGRChi) is celebrating Community Manager Appreciation Day by…hosting a co-working day at the offices of MentorMob. According to the invite, the day will include lunch from international speaker and the marketing mind behind 6 Chicago Domino’s Pizza stores, Ramon DeLeon, as well as a happy hour from 4:30-6pm.
There is also a Google Hangout on Monday at noon cst (-6 GMT) hosted by Connie Bensen of Dell, Community Management 3.0 #CMAD. Information on the event and panelists, visit the Facebook event and don’t forget to circle up Dell’s Google+ page!
