Ed Walker is founder and editor of a hyperlocal news website for the city of Preston, Lancashire, UK. It’s called Blog Preston and is read by over 30,000 Prestonians a month. For his day job he is Digital Development Editor at Trinity Mirror, working with digital editorial teams on special projects and publishing initiatives across some of the biggest brands in UK regional publishing. He’s recently adopted a dog called Bruno from the Dog’s Trust. He’s still working out whether this is a good idea.
