Yesterday as I was walking to the subway, I saw a woman walking her cat on a leash and I thought “this is just TOO fascinating”, so I spoke to her for a minutes about her cat and how she did not recommend letting a young cat (with claws) get used to wildness of the outdoors, because now her cat wakes her up in the middle of the night to go outside!
We connected over a shared fascination for kitties and as I walked away I was kicking myself for not whipping out my iPhone and taking a video of her cat climbing up a tree with a leash attached it’s collar, while we had our conversation. I’m sure there are many others in cat-loving communities who would have enjoyed it!
